Crossmark is a Crossref initiative designed to provide a standardized way to identify the most recent version of a document. By implementing the Crossmark button, the Revista Electrónica de Investigación Educativa (REDIE) is making a commitment to keep published content up to date and alert readers to any relevant updates to documents.

Clicking on the Crossmark button will redirect users to the most recent version of the document. The button also provides additional information relevant to the publication, such as funding details or authors’ ORCID identifiers.

Retraction Policy

In line with standard practice in scientific journals in the field of education, REDIE has a clear retraction policy. This policy is applicable whenever serious issues come to light, including significant errors, plagiarism, research fraud or violations of ethics.

Any decision to retract an article is made only after careful analysis and consultation with experts. In the event of a retraction, a retraction note will be issued explaining the reasons for the decision and a link will be provided to the original version of the article, thus maintaining a record of the work and subsequent retraction.

This policy not only safeguards the quality and integrity of the journal, but also strengthens confidence in the scientific publication process and supports accountability and ethics in research.
