Vínculo universidad y sociedad: una nueva perspectiva

Resumen

Esta investigación analiza la influencia de la organización universitaria sobre los logros obtenidos por la vinculación empresarial y el involucramiento regional con el objetivo de aportar conocimiento sobre la relación efectiva que debe existir entre universidad y sociedad. En el estudio empírico participaron investigadores de 51 universidades acreditadas de Colombia. La investigación utilizó un enfoque cuantitativo, con un alcance explicativo a través del modelado de ecuaciones estructurales por covarianzas, a través del cual se comprueba la hipótesis planteada. Los resultados muestran que en el modelo de innovación universitario propuesto, los cuatro factores integrados (liderazgo estratégico, soporte administrativo, estructura universitaria y participación académica) en la variable organización para el involucramiento influyen de manera positiva tanto en el involucramiento regional como en la vinculación empresarial. El estudio puede servir de base para futuras investigaciones que incluyan a universidades no acreditadas e instituciones de carácter técnica o tecnológica.
