All texts published by REDIE, without exception, are distributed under a Creative Commons Atribución-No Comercial (CC-BY NC 4.0 Internacional) license, which allows others to use published material provided they credit the author of the work and the journal as the first publisher.

Authors’ rights

  1. In accordance with applicable copyright law, REDIE acknowledges and respects authors’ moral rights and ownership of proprietary rights, which will be transferred non-exclusively to the journal to enable legal, open-access dissemination of the work.
  2. REDIE does not reserve publishing rights to articles. Authors may distribute their own material by any other means or in any other medium, provided it is done for non-commercial purposes, the editors are notified that the work will be republished, and the corresponding credit is given to REDIE.
  3. Publication in REDIE is free of charge and similarly does not entitle authors to any financial remuneration.
  4. Readers may reproduce (copy), communicate, distribute or produce derivative works based on articles or contributions published in REDIE, provided this is done for public and non-commercial purposes, no changes are made to the content, the author of the work is credited, and the source of the work is cited in full: name of the author, Revista Electrónica de Investigación Educativa, volume number, issue number, correct URL or DOI of the document cited.
  5. The journal’s editorial team undertake to promptly notify authors of any change in the location of articles in the World Wide Web (change of address or connections to identify the article).
  6. When submitting papers to REDIE for potential publication, authors should consider the above aspects, which are also stated in the letter of assignment of proprietary rights, which must be submitted as a supplementary file through the OJS platform.

Readers’ rights

Under the principles of open access, readers of REDIE are free to read, print and distribute the journal’s content by any means as soon as such content is published online. The sole requirement is that users indicate clearly and explicitly that the work was first published in REDIE and that the source is cited in full: name of the author, Revista Electrónica de Investigación Educativa, volume number, issue number, correct URL or DOI of the document cited.
